Getting to South Star

South Star is located in Kalo Livadi, on the quiet southeast side of Mykonos — one of the best-positioned addresses on the island. You're close to the airport, close to the best beaches, and far enough from the port traffic to actually relax.

From Mykonos Airport (JMK)

The airport is just 6 km away — roughly a 10-minute drive. It's the easiest arrival on the island. A taxi will cost approximately €15–20. We offer a complimentary airport transfer for all guests — just send us your flight details in advance and we'll have someone waiting for you.

From the New Port (Tourlos)

If you're arriving by ferry, the New Port at Tourlos is around 12 km from the villa — about 20 minutes by car. Taxis are available at the port exit. Again, our complimentary transfer service covers port pickups — just let us know your ferry details.

From the Old Port (Mykonos Town)

The Old Port and Mykonos Town are approximately 13 km away, around 20–25 minutes depending on traffic. In peak summer months the main road into town can slow down — factor that in if you're heading out for dinner.

Getting Around

We recommend renting a car or ATV if you plan to explore the island independently — it gives you the freedom to reach beaches, restaurants, and Mykonos Town on your own schedule. We can arrange a rental through our concierge. Taxis are available island-wide but can be hard to find during peak hours in July and August — always book in advance or ask us to arrange one for you.
